About Dungeon Scrawl

Dungeon Scrawl is a free online mapmaking tool for ttrpgs.

When you need a map for your D&D encounter and you have 60 seconds to create it, Dungeon Scrawl is where you go.

It's a battlemap tool that gets out of your way as you draw your dungeon, decorate it with objects and text, and export it. Image export is ideal for using in your favorite virtual tabletop such as Roll20, Foundry VTT, Owlbear Rodeo. With PDF export, you can print your map across multiple pages, stick them together, and use it physically on your non-virtual tabletop.

Oh and you can use it right now, for free, from your browser, no sign-up required.

Existing mapmaking options weren't quite right for me. I'm a bit picky with my software - I wanted something clean and simple, easy to pick up and use, powerful when I need it to be. My D&D games were already happening online, so I wanted something in the browser that I could load up in seconds. So I made Dungeon Scrawl and released it for free.
